He’s at Chamberlain giving a talk right now if you don’t get an answer right away.

Well, after getting my new Schaffers Opposition Sight and Fall Away Rest on, I finally got her (my bow) tweaked pretty good all the way out to 60 yards using my weighted nocks to simulate my lighted Tracer nocks. I’m definitely not where I need to be, but the bow is shooting unbelievable and I don’t have any excuses except for my own shooting or lack there of.
It has been nice shooting weather rather then the humid 90 degree days that we normally see.
I was dialed in to 50 but i had to get a new string because the morons at the factory strung the cable in the wrong cable slide notch so the cables were rubbing together and caused them to shred However, i got string and cables from Vapor Trail in blue and lime green I am sighted in at 30 but i have to go outside to shoot maybe to 60
Protour I know wthat you know, but man when you shoot at 60 yards and then come back into like 20, 30 or even 40 yards. That target sure looks big and easy.
So big, I might not be shooting at the same spot on the target @ 20 & 30 yards no more, as I wrecked a few fletchings yesterday.
Good to hear you are all set up and ready to start getting her dialed in.
Heck yes Rob, I like practicing out that deep for the same reasons. Not that I’d ever take a shot out there as I’m not nearly good enough, but it makes your other shots feel like a chip shot.
Can I get a hold of the weighted nocks at Schaffers?
Joel
Amen to that!
I was able to get dialed in last year out to 60ys, and boy am I glad I did! It makes those shorter shots feel like a chip shot and was a huge boost to my confidence.
The only problem with it is that it makes thoses ones that are 45-55 yds out a little tempting.

Joel, I’m not sure if Schaffers sells Tracers or not? The weighted practice nocks come with when you buy the lighted Tracer nocks. I use the practice ones so I don’t wreck a nock practicing all Summer.
I have the HHA maxed out @ 104 yards. Makes the baseball groups at 60 fun.
Come on Sept.
I say we all me at Rapids and walk the courses out doors sometime before fall. Or hadd out to Shaffers and hit the video lanes sometime

I can’t tell you what the exact hang time of my arrows are at 60. However, if you review this link, I’m sure you could use algebra to back-calculate the time it takes from release until it hits the turkey square in the chest. That’s where the vitals are for the two guys that had a hard time finding them this year.
Remember to adjust for 1/4X slow-mo, and compute for 23 yards before you extrapolate to 60.
