As Gut posted, I tagged along with him on the trip to Schaffer’s with my son Isaac. It’s been a few years since I’d been in there, and it was busy!
It’s also been a few years since I’d been fitted for a bow, and both Jason and John were willing to do just about anything to get it done right. Over a period of about two hours Pat (gutone4me) and I shot three different bows, in several models/configurations, and Jason switched out a cam for me twice to get my draw length a little more dialed in. We shot his personal bow, and he stopped what he was doing to setup a Reezen 7.0 and put a string loop on it……all so I could compare it to the Reezen 6.5 I’d been shooting previously.
Admittedly, I was a salesperson’s worst nightmare. A tire-kicker for all tire-kickers. They didn’t mind a bit, even when they were swamped and there were lines.
I mentioned IDO in regards to Brian Peterson’s name, and John remembered him and the bow he got.
Overall, I was impressed again with how they do business. Felt like we were shopping and buying bows from a hunting buddy.
