How much do they cost? I’ve been thinking about switching from Hoyt to Bow Tech but if the price is right and it’s a nice bow…

its hard to beat the Guardian Bowtech has to offer I don’t have one but i have shot one and the grip, forgiving, vibration, and little noise level is insane!!! Probably the best bow Bowtech has to offer!! I haven’t really heard of the new line of bows hoyt has to offer but im sure their better than mathews

I also am not a fan of Mathews bows. Are they quality bows? Sure they are, but that doesn’t mean they are for everyone. I had 2 of them and neither one really “fit” me. When I sold my last one, I tried out many different bows and found a Diamond that fit me very well. I wanted another Diamond, but since Bowtech bought them out , I won’t touch them.
My next bow will more than likely be Hoyt, another high quality company

Hoyts has always been a very good bow. I shot bow league with a guy I used to shoot 3-d’s with and he had an Alphatech in 3-d colors and it was very very smooth and I shot it a few times. Jamie was a very good shot too with his hoyt, he hit a pingpong ball 20 times in a row on the exhaust side of a shopvac at an indoor 3-d shoot, no kidding. When he walked out he had an arrow full of balls that he slid on the shaft that he had hit and set a new record for that 3-d site,,,at 20 yrds too. I called him deadeye Washburn lol, Hoyts are excellent bows.

Mathews are great bows for me. Different Folks Different Strokes! Take any of the new bows lately and it is hard to say much bad about any of them. Find the one that feels good to you and fits you on both shooting and the pocket book and you will have a Winner. For me that choice is MATHEWS!

Myself, I will probably be looking at the Mathews Reezen, or S2 this Spring/Summer for my new bow possiblities. If you don’t like the Short ATA of the DXT take a look a the S2. The S2 is a lil more forgiving then the DXT.

One more option or opinon? Has anyone had any experience with Mission Bows? They are made by Mathews. I,m getting back into bow hunting after 15 plus years of being out of it,and need to get a quality bow but at a value price.

I would personally go with a Diamond Black Ice or Marquis. I think the Black Ice goes for $680 or $650, kinda pricey but if you are serious about getting back into it i would go with a bow that is highly reliable, smooth, and quiet I have shot both and highly recommend them both. I think the Marquis is 35″ axle to axle, very forgiving but longer bows are not as popular to bowhunters as shorter bows

My lil’ bro just bought a Mission Bow and loves it. He never shot before but checked out a few in that price range and I think he totally got set with everything but release (I gave him one of my extras) for a lil over $600. He is driving tacks at 20 yards with that thing with no prior shooting experience or coaching.

I don’t think there are any “bad” bows left on the market. Like stated, it’s personal preference. Go to a Archery shop that carries all the brands and shoot em all The bow that “fits” and is the right one for you, will rise to the top… that’s how I got my Hoyt

There are many good bows. For anyone to knock one of the main bows it shows you’re real incompetent and don’t have alot of knowledge regarading bows.
