License?

    Thinking of buying the archery license soon so its out of the way but i was wondering can you buy a license right now? Also if you can do you have to buy a tag? I will be hunting under the white fish chain and have no idea what area or section that is? Also do you have to be a certain age to purchase a license? I am fifteen

    If you are talking deer, you will need a firearm safety certificate and can purchase a youth archery license for $13. If you don’t have your fas you can get a appretice hunter validation that is a one time thing and good for one year. Your license will come in 2 parts which you buy all at once. That is your license and your tag. When you go buy the license they will have a map to look at to figure out where you will be hunting. Not sure if they are available yet, DNR website still has the 2007 regs book online.

    Licenese are available. In fact, if you plan on going to Ripley, applications are being accepted.
