Who is planning an archery elk trip next year. I have points in Wyoming and Colorado. I have been out to Colorado the last 5 years with the last 2 being solo. Who else has been going out west for archery elk
Not going this year but my buddy arrowed a 6×6 three weeks ago near Helena MT. He was kind enough to share some of his bounty with me.
This is a plan I started putting in to place last year. I haven’t done enough travel out of state hunting and last year I bought points in a couple states for multiple different game. Elk included.
For those buying PP in MT, make sure you read up on there regs, they have a terrible system now. Basically you can buy a PP for the first year. Second year you can buy a point but you must apply that year as well, or you lose it all. Plus they have the most expensive tags in the west.
What states you have points in
I have points in AZ and WY i think 5 in each maybe 6 now in AZ with the loyalty. I too do not have anyone to go with though. I also apply for NM every year, because why not. i usually do muzzleloader for that one.
