aqua vu micro or the pan cam

what do you guys think of the aqua vu micro. Having a hard time making up my mind between the micro or the new pan cam. I have pros and cons on both. thanks:

I just returned my pancam today, great idea, poor execution.. i’ll wait to see if they fixed the panner motor in next years model…

I posted this before I read your subject with your panner. It might be in my best interset to wait on pancam and just ask about the aqua vu micro and how people like or dis like it

I just home from buying the 5″ micro. I hard a hard time deciding and got some great feedback on here, but went with the portability of the micro. Used my cabelas coupon and saved $80. Hope it was the right move!

I just ordered a micro too tonight from their site, reconditioned one for $129 with one year warranty free shipping. I to like the idea of light, compact unit and the price was right

How about the Vexilar FishPhone? I have enjoyed using mine, although I wish I had a panning device on it. I wasted a lot of time trying to find my jig and/or figure out which way it was pointing.

would the fish phone app down load on a kindle fire?

I’ve had a av micro for 4 years now and I love it. when they first came out they had issues with the camera but they stepped up and mailed me one 4 free even though I was out of warranty over a year and I even offered to pay for it! in my opinion it’s a “have to own” product for scouting though.the picture quality is clear and wide, the battery life is great, and it is small and light. It does get hard to see on sunny days though but I tuck it in to my hoodie and it works fine I don’t know too much about the camera panner yet but plan on getting one once the bugs get worked out of it .
