Anyone use one? Bass pro has them on sale for 150.. i’ve been contemplating one for a long time, something to keep the kids entertained and help me know whats below me. The one thing I keep reading is that you absolutely cannot see the screen in any sort of sunlight. Wondering if anyone has any input on that… i’d like to also utilize the camera in open water, but if it’s crap in daylight, maybe that won’t work.

The new line is head and shoulders better than the micro 2. At $229, you can pick up a stealth 4.3 that has video out, a better screen, better battery life, and waterproof ports. I have the Revolution Pro 5.0, and it’s slick having the direction, water temps, and dvr, but you’ll spend almost double.
If you want the kids to watch a camera, you’re probably better off with the 715c (full size camera)
I have the Micro and in sunlight I put a dark red towel over my head and camera.
