Welcome to the forum Robert. Great first post…tell us more how you use them and perhaps show a few pictures of the fish you are catching with them.

I just bought a few for this year. No ice yet in Utah but I went out on my float tube targeting bass. Looking for locations when the ice does come… But so far I’ve been impressed. I just it like you would a rippin rap. Caught a nice bass and a few slimer rainbows.

I would like to try these but I just stocked up on the Rapala version this year and I have a box full of Chubby Darters and Zippers from last season that I rarely use.
The Rippin’ Raps work really well for me, especially at drawing fish in for a look. Getting them to commit to a strike takes a bit of finessing but they really do work. I imagine the HD Ice lures work much the same. The Darters and Zippers haven’t worked for me. I give up on those. I guess when you have aggressive feeders they might work but I wouldn’t know.

I had every color, fished them for two years. No bites, no fish. Sold them on ebay.

Just like the rippin rap for presintation . I usualy do 3 good rod pumps and wait about 5 to 10 seconds between .slow lifts after that for a few strokes . Not as noisy . I cant keep em off most daus

Awesome, very good looking trout. I’m excited to try that gold color this winter on some pig rainbows.
