Tagged along with a buddy on upper pool 3 this afternoon. Lots of shorts, half dozen keepers and a mid 20. Not a bad day.

Crazy amount of people on the ice on the small lake near the hastings public launch.

What did you get them on.

Hit the Milwaukee Harbor targeting browns and lakers by casting and jigging, but only boated one. Perch were aggressive though, smacking 3/4 oz spoons and 5 inch jerk shads, so we each set up dead sticks with fat heads and went home with 5 each. Started out with NE winds and 3 to 4 foot rollers plus some chop, so stayed ducked in behind breakwalls near the gaps most of the time. Water temp at 43 degrees, so still time to try again.

Dropped in Miss last night and played with the eyes. Had ice chunks accumulating by the time I left this morning

Both jig/fathead and jig/plastics caught fish. Didn’t seem to have a preference for one over the other.

Got on the water yesterday. 35 degrees and fresh snow sure made for a beautiful day on the river.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think he was referencing open water fishing. ??? This thread started back in late October.

Any fishing, if they set up a kiddie trout pool at the mall you might see me!
Should be able to get out next weekend so the fishing DTs might stop.
