Been on vacation for the last two weeks out west and wondering if anyone is still fishing/catching bass on metro lakes & if so what tactics are working and what’s the water temp? Would like to get my (new to me) boat out one more time this weekend if it’s worth it. Appreciate any advice.

Scott, I was out in the east metro a week ago and the north metro on Saturday. It was productive both times, but Saturday was better. Saturday was actually the best day I had all season. The temp was similar both locations and days, between 57-61 degrees. Most moving lures were effective but the most productive lure I would say was a 3/8 ounce white chatter bait. I posted some photos in another thread of these big largemouth that were caught. I also ran into a few decent pike too. With the plummeting temps, I would get out there soon. Once it drops below 50 degrees, it will be a lot tougher.
