Anyone one fish lake Winona?

Just curious how many ppl fish lake Winona on here , i always have bypassed this place for the river near by but due to high water i recently launched on the lower lake and was quiete surprised by what I found out there . Long story short i stumbled onto some nice fish 3 walleyes the biggest was 22′ plus caught crappie and a few nice bass .easy fishing a orange jig and fathead off the weeds . The walleyes were no joke either 22′ is still swimming . Planning on going back soon

I didn’t even know you could launch a boat there!

Just finished up 4 years at WSU, did a lot of fishing but mostly on the river. I did, however, get into some decent bass fishing throwing top water around the shore of the small Winona lake. Talked to some locals that mentioned some decent walleye were in there. Goodluck!

22′ is easily going to shatter the state record.

I usually fish those 22 footers with a #125 rippin rap human color and I use 1000lb floro.
Haven’t been able to find an adequate landing net yet.
