I just bought the new float jacket the zipper seems very sticky and hard to start. Anything I could use to lubricate it better? Not sure if it’s just me or something with the zipper it just does not start good. I was going to exchange it but the place I got it is out. I’m thinking there should be something to put on the zipper otherwise I love it I don’t want to give it up and it’s my only jacket wife threw my old one. roll

Don’t have the jacket, but try a little Chapstick and see if that helps. Otherwise there’s a couple different brands of zipper/snap lube out there too.

I just bought a predator jacket and had the same issue. It has the double zipper pull and that seems to be the issue. No amount of lube will fix it as it is an alignment issue.
My fix: Grab the upper pull and make sure it is set into the lower pull, then put your pointer finger below the pulls and insert the left side zipper until you feel it on you r finger tip at the bottom of the pulls. Then it slides right up no problem. I know this sounds convoluted but it works for me and now I don’t even think about it.
It’s like starting up an old CR250 (half kick half kick 3 pumps on the throttle full kick full kick fires right up!)

I’d return and get one that works properly.
