Anyone have a Yeti with the pull-out benches – Are they comfortable?

So, as you know one of my relatives is most likely buying an icehouse soon. Most likely a Yeti 8×17 Angler.

I see that the benches pull out but think they would be better if they were the common bench to dinette that most have. I think those would be more comfortable when pulled out for sleeping. The Yeti cushions seem harder and have a split in the middle.

Does anyone have any experience with the Yeti pullout benches, are they comfortable to sleep on?

Also, how strong is the Yeti pullouts when pulled out, a friend who would most likely go with us is 6’6″ and weighs about 330lbs., wondering if he would break the Yeti pullout bed?

Well, I guess it works, but not going to have many guys say they thoroughly enjoy to a pullout.

Why not get a lift bed?

    Comes with one.

But not everyone can sleep on the lift bed and our friend is too heavy for the lift bed.

What is the weight limit on the lift beds?

The bed in the rear has to more than that I would think. Not sure on the side ones though

I would assume so also but I don’t know for sure.

I think the lift beds are rated at 600#’s. My wife and I sleep on ours with a real queen mattress. Also if your bigger buddy sleeps on the pullout I’d have him sleep across both couches since it looks like they meet in the middle, instead of one. I adjusted mine to meet in the middle for this reason. They are pretty flimsy out on the edge when folded out. I also cut a couple 2×4’s to fit across the bench underneath to support them. As far as comfortable it ain’t bad.

I would think any man would be able to sleep on the lift beds. Mine seems very heavy duty anyway and my son and I sleep on it no problem.

The fold down couches I find very uncomfortable with the cracks. If you had a mattress topper or something it would help I suppose
