soldAnyone have a Muskie reel they want to sell

I’m taking a trip to Canada to chase monster pike in Mid June. Does anyone have a Muskie reel laying around that they may be interested in selling? I’d prefer a reel with a LH retrieve but am open to RH as well. I’m hoping to not have to break the bank on something I may only use once or so a year.

I don’t, but check eBay. I bought all my Garcia muskie reels there for pretty cheap. Should be able to pick them up “new in box”.

I did take a look out on Ebay. The prices there we not much better than at most online stores for Garcia reels. I’ll have to keep a eye out there to see if any show up.

If you’ve got facebook, keep your eyes peeled on the Musky Flee Market and the Musky Buy, Sell, Trade pages. A good deal will pop up on a used reel quite often.

Ive got a Abu Garcia RECORD 60HC with power handle if that interests you. 80#powerpro already spooled on.

Is that a LH or RH model? I assume the power handle is one with a single knob correct?

Thanks for the offer. If possible I’d like to find a LH reel. I made the switch on baitcasters many years ago. I doubt I could even set the hook well with the rod in my left hand.

Craigslist might be better than trying to wait for one I used to check for muskie stuff on there and their seems to be some good deals.

Been keeping my eyes on Craig’s list. LH baitcasting reels are few and far between in a size large enough for BIG pike. With the trip only 9 days away I may have to bite the dust and purchase a few new reels. I’ll Keep watching craigs list and hopefully something reasonable priced may show up. I do have a lead on 1 reel was looking for a 2nd one.
