Every time I drive by the new Saints stadium (CHS Field I believe it’s called) I keep telling myself I have to get there. I love baseball and I plan on getting there this summer. Anyone been there and care to share any experiences? Parking?
Went there last year for two different games. Last year they were a very good baseball team so that was a plus as well. Great atmosphere for kids and several games/skits in between innings for added entertainment.
I don’t recall which ramp I used, but there are several parking ramps within 2-3 blocks to park in. Buy your tickets soon though, good seats are already sold out for many sections all season.
Went to a corporate outing there, so not much chance to actually pay attention to baseball, but atmosphere is great. Some rookie attendees also had complaints about the parking, but mainly from people who don’t pay attention and expect to drive right to the front door and park.
The Lowertown restaurant/bar scene is now fantastic. Lots of places near the park to try.
Really a terrific asset for St. Paul.
