Anyone Fish off of Kaposia Landing in St Paul? P2

Looks like there some deep water holes and a lot of bottom structure. Curious if anyone ever fishes that area of pool 2?

Not many shore fisherman along there, but there are some good spots. Many people tend to target the wing dams on the opposite shoreline, but you can find fish from time to time on the rip rap just downriver from Kaposia.

There’s a Kaposia Landing in St. Paul too? I thought the only one was in South St. Paul

There are two wing dams on that shoreline. The’re easier to see with a south wind. Neither one has been really productive for me although I have caught fish there. Including my PB Channel cat. Where that culvert comes out, it’s a big dent in the shoreline full of rip rap. When the water is high enough to fill that spot it will hold fish trying to get out of the current. I saw a nice Musky come out of that spot last spring. Good luck!
