Made it on Sunday just in time to spend more $$ than I thought I would. Of course. Bought Striker Predator bibs which I can tell I’m going to love, and these LED lights for my shack that are brighter than any lights I’ve ever seen. They’re incredible. Can’t remember the name of them. When I get home from work I will post a pic of them. They are sweet!

    Anybody else go?

They may want to think about a little advertising next year. This is the first I heard there was a show last weekend…..

Save your money and don’t go,This year was crap not as many vendors as previous years. I tried talking to some of the “prostaff” people about some Clam products and really didn’t get any questions answered. The Otter guys definitely help me answer questions. Joe’s and Thorne Bros where the main two booths with great staff as well. There where maybe 2 or 3 sales reps for wheelhouses and they where selling the same brand.I think the other vendors have seen the expo as a loss.
The only benefit to this show is that it’s early and you can see some products and maybe get it for a decent deal, but its like going to Best Buy to look at a TV, just to buy it on Amazon.
I won’t be going to this one anymore after this year. I’ll save my $10 and buy something at the St. Paul Show.

Would be interested in what you found for LED lights for your sled. I’m in the process of installing a lighting system in my Otter Cabin.

I went but their minimalist website didn’t list the hours if you can believe. I had to wait an hour for it to open.

I was disappointed, too. It wasn’t as good as past years and not as many vendors. Only Joes and Thorne Bros had decent sales going.

Here are the lights. I got 3 for $25. Seems like there is 2 rows of LEDs and I’m telling you. The are the brightest lights I’ve ever seen. Can barely look at them when on. Runs off a 12v and can be run in a series. First pic is side view, second is top view. Sorry, can’t find my receipt or remember the brand name. They were also selling a “no screw boat plug” if that rings a bell for anyone.

I had a great time there. Got some real good deals on things also. Yeah it’s not the St. Paul show. But you shouldn’t be expecting it to be either. It’s a smaller show.

Do they run really hot? I had a pair I was going to use on the boat until I hooked them up and tried to pick them up a few minutes later.

I went Sunday afternoon hoping to find a good end of show deal on a flasher. However, was really disappointed in the overall show. Also didn’t find a deal that I thought was worth a darn. Best advice I got from anyone was from a Thorne Bros guy, which I could get any day of the week when I stop in the shop.

However, I was able to catch a seminar from Jeff Andersen where only 6 people were in attendance so that was cool. Got to ask him lots of questions and he probably shared more that he would’ve a normal packed seminar. He is one of the more personable, friendly, and humble pros I’ve ever met.

Haven’t run mine yet for longer than a couple minutes. However the ones they hand on display I picked up and inspected and didn’t feel much heat on them. Guessing they were on all day. They say they can run for two days on a 12v. We shall see.

Hi all first post here. Have followed for a while and really like this site. I did make it to the show. First time ever going to this show. Did get a pretty good deal from Thorne on a downsized but upgraded house from the clam voyager tcx that I recently sold. Looking forward to the St Paul show. Hopefully some ice soon also. Have 2 new houses this year and itching to get them out!!!

It was well worth it for me I got the pan cam for $50 off, and a few other small things. I would agree that it was smaller than last year. I liked it better when the inventions were separate but can understand why they would have all wanted to be together in the big room.
