Anyone else having problems getting into the site

I tried to log in this morning from my work computer and got the following message

It reads “ The owner of this website ( http://www.in-depthoutdoors.com has banned the autonomous system (ASN ) your address is in (14618 ) from accessing this website.

That’s an Amazon/AWS ASN. Probably banned because of bots coming from there.

For comparison the ASN of my IP through Verizon is listed as 95.8% human.

Your user ID is not banned. Perhaps someone from your office, using the same server got banned? Not sure but this is what happened to me and Walleye Central. Been banned using my work computer for years.

Anyway, You may want to wait a couple hours and try again. Probably will work again.

All is right with the world now. I’m back on. maybe it was just a short timeout for being a bad boy and not a total ban

If you watch there is very little activity here until businesses open and it really drops off after closing. Very little use on the weekends, that was why I would do my Friday Night Topics on Friday nights, there was very little babysitting going on over the weekend. guys could have fun without much worrying of getting scolded or a subject locked down. Well, that was until some guys (or guy) would directly PM a moderator.

The only thing that I have noticed is I will have read all responses in a thread and will come back in hour and it will look like something has been added. I will have read the last response so it should not have looked like a new response. Not a big deal but strange

Thanks, i’ve heard that from others as well.

Problem is a select few want everything to be life & death. Some can’t just read a thing, be entertained and offer their opinion or move on. They need to make a federal case of everything, insinuate everybody is a moron if you didn’t march to their opinion. It’s the “I’m smarter” or as I call it the “holier than thou” guys. But I did enjoy them and if people could just think about the subject matter from both sides, offer their opinion, have some fun instead of trying to change others opinions I might try it again. We’ll see.

I think if someone edits a post it marks it unread again, not sure though.

I will watch for that but the post do seem to be the same but it could be my eyes.
