    Will not be a problem.
I have “close personal friends” who have had to take the test and were already back home before the results. The boxes’ the tests were supposed to go into had not been emptied for days so they just left them on the top of the box and went about their business. I think it’s more of a “stated process” at thios point and less of a “practiced action”.
Either way I am with others in saying 221,000 acres and seeing 4 other boats in 4 days with LOTS of Smallies, Northerns and Walleyes is why I go. No electricity but a generator as needed. Outdoor kitchen, no cost to the cabins as the owner is a sibling, wallet on the dash of the boat as no worries there. Time with friends and family on the road – good memories ….. Experience is cheap for me even with Brandon’s gas prices.
Have a blast and send some pictures!!!

I wonder if Canadians (or any other non-US citizens) have these same discussions when they talk about coming into the US, considering the US requires them to be vaccinated AND show proof of negative test or recent recovery of covid.

Yes, non-US citizens/residents have been having these discussions and it goes back way BEFORE covid to the post-911 days.

The US requires way more than vaccinations to enter and I’m not talking about those entering from 3rd world countries, I’m talking about Europe, Australia, NZL, Japan, and Korea. In most cases, even if the US does not require a visa, the traveler has to submit a raft of personal information detailing all kinds of medical and other personal info through a government-run app/website, and of course, all of this is relayed to the US immigration, Homeland Security, and then who knows who else. It’s that “who else” that especially causes a lot of concern.

So if Americans are feeling somehow singled out by other countries’ travel rules, well, the road runs both ways.

Sombody already said it very well. It’s their country and their rules.

Personally, I’ll be happy to get back to the little camp in the sub-arctic and enjoy the fact that “traffic” is a plane flying overhead once a day.

That’s mainly what I meant by the question. It was a bit of a sarcastic question. Naive of us to think it’s not a two way street.

Well just finished the Arrivecan app. and purchased my license online. Both took about 10-15 minutes total. All set and good to go. Looking forward to a early start Sat. am start. We may be able to get camp setup in time to even get in a quick evening fish Sat. Its light till almost 11:00 there this time of the year and we have 6-7 days of fishing so we will get plenty of fishing in. My guess is on Sun. we will be on the water by 8:00am or so and not be back to camp till 10-11PM. 1st day of fishing you are all jacked up and want to check out as many of the HOT spots as possible. Each day after that the start time gets slightly later and the finish time a little earlier. Got to have time to get those batteries charged on the Generator and have a few Crown and Coke toast every evening. Nothing better than a Big steak with a baked potato washed down with a cold Canadian beer followed by a Crown or Capt. cocktail before bed.

For those heading to Ear Falls or Red Lake this week, the resort we are staying at on Lac Seul just notified us that there is a detour out of Vermilion Bay that is vey confusing and not well marked. There is a detour of 105 heading north because of flooding. Attached is the detour.

I am 100 percent jealous. Hope you have a blast.
