I’m thinking of heading over there Saturday, hoping they have roads back open by then and can get in a perch bite. Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated.

All I can tell you is they posted in FB they closed there roads since this past Friday through the weekend. Looks like things will improve as the week moves forward. Off road is near impossible.

From a couple buddies who just came back, they said they shoveled more then fished. But the fish were biting.

Was snowmobiling near Bowstring over the weekend. Even with longtracks it was pretty easy to find water/slush in spots under the 2’+ of snow. Had to be cautious of stopping in certain spots to not get sucked down.

Was on Winnie last night and the roads were great. Off road there is a crazy amount of snow.

Dennys just posted that there roads are all good to go and they will be open for the perch bite until the ice is done. Travel off-road is not gonna happen unless it’s with a tracked machine

Thanks We’ve stayed at Nodak Lodge for the last 25yrs, so we have seen many different conditions. Our group all grew up in the UP so we are used to snow. But we sure like it when we can get to our favorite spots. Nodaks always has good roads and we can usually find the perch. CAN’T WAIT! Love this trip.
