I’ll be venturing out tomorrow morning, hopefully there active prior to the snow moving in.
More or less curious how others have been doing ?

I’m guessing the large crack and people being rescued in a recent thread played a role in why there aren’t a lot of reports, especially on the main lake.

There’s plenty of safe ice on the south bays but they always freeze up better and faster.

Been fairly slow out of the west side where i’ve been down near the casino. Marking fish just not taking anything. Lots of smaller marks with some bigger fish occasionally passing through. Had a buddy go out to the same bay on Sunday and he and his dad caught 12 that day. Good size overall but pretty slow. This was in the 16-18 ft range along the first break.

Was out on a bay last week. Caught one 22 incher on a Rippin Rap that was hooked pretty deep. Luckily was in the slot to take home or else I would have had to release it to its death.

Action was slow in the bay, around 14 ft on a break. Marked a fair amount but no serious action.

    Currently…
I took wheeler out of Garrison sports & set up on Garrison Reef, picked up a few small perch so far, on a dead stick.
Two nice marks moved in, they came up & shot right back down.

    Ice is just touching 7”-8”.
