Anybody use the Iron-Jaws device on your trailer hitch?

Seems like a really good idea, does anybody have experience with using one? Any issues with trailoring or does it ever interfere with anything?

I have started seeing the advertisements on TV lately. I don’t know anybody who has or has used one. Seems like a pretty good idea and I know keeping the trailer on the ball on the hitch is a real good idea. grin

Seems like a great idea…for someone who’s lost a trailer before.

Looks like it would be a good product. Hopefully some will chime in with experience with this.

I have a trailer mounted BBQ smoker. I needed to move it from the garage to the house just so I could pressure wash it. I just dropped it on the ball. Apparently not all the way. It jumped off the ball and cracked my rear bumper cover. flame Nobody to blame but myself. I’m not so passive about it now I double check to make sure it’s all the way on the ball so I can see the use for something like this.

It would give me a little more peace of mind on a road trip pulling a trailer.

Any one who has ever had a trailer come off the ball would, will see the benefits of this product. I have had that happen. Do I own one? No. Will I buy one probably not. If I lose a trailer again then I will probably definitely buy one.

I guess I see it as just one more thing to forget to lock down. Some people can hardly remember to plug in their lights and secure the chains.

Also wouldn’t using a pintle hitch accomplish the same thing?
