These pins first came out when the fighting started, don’t remember what year it was though.

Not only do I remember those, I remember where the one I bought is still kept in a cabinet drawer…where else but my place at Mille Lacs. Bought it over 10 years ago from Doug Meyenburg and his PERM clan at the Muskie show back when they still had it at the NSC in Blaine.
PERM started out with some recognition but have since lost any traction they had and is just a ghost organization now. They did however, back in their beginnings commissioned a series of prints which are now collectible. This one by Les Kouba and Bud Grant is one I do cherish. Kouba is gone now, and Grant is getting very old now. This print hangs in my hideaway at Mille Lacs and I admire it every time I’m there.

The old “Save Mille Lacs Association” sold them to raise money for the landowners legal cost in the early 90’s. I think we selling them for $10 apiece. I still have a few left. That same print hangs in my home as well.

For some reason I never liked that print. I may have to look again.
