Moved to the west metro and got some new waders for Christmas. Just wondering if anyone has any spots a guy can fish with waders.(not asking for secret spots just a place to spend some time with the chance to catch a fish)

Go out to Monticello and fish below the discharge, most times you can catch a few smallmouth right there. Not sure how the ice is or how close you are but you can also go down to Riverpark in Brooklyn park and catch some of everything. I’ve never wader fished Riverpark but shore fishing is usually good. Look for the current seams and you should find fish.
ive seen a few people wader fishing a bit south of what they call swan park on the south end of montecello this past winter!!!!!
