Anybody install extra lights on their trucks?

I just did on my quad and now I’m thinking about how cool a light bar would be on the front of my truck. Friend did it and he was extremely impressed. My biggest concern is the wiring. Getting through the fire wall and tapping into existing electrical properly, including a relay. Mounting the light bar would be easy. I saw one on a similar truck yesterday.

Are you thinking fog lights/grille lights or on top of the cab? I’ve seen some guys with LED light bars on top of their cabs, and it really isn’t my thing.

I’m thinking LED light bar on the bumper in front of the grill. Unobtrusive and effective. Just like the install on my quad.

I did on my old ford. I bought ebay 4″ led work lights, ah yeah these were bright enough I could drive without my headlights on and I did do that a time or two till I had a cop do a U turn on me didn’t get me though “Whew”.

I’ve got a 24″ lightbar INSIDE my grille on my truck. It’s a 2011 F-150. Works excellent and you can’t even tell it’s there. I do not like the look of exposed light bars on trucks, but apparently it’s all the rage. Mine puts out an incredible amount of light and I love it, specially on those overnight runs to URL…

Would love to put one on the rear of Tahoe to light up the boat/trailer at the packing end of a night run. Maybe that would attract most the bugs too away from me.

    That would be sweet.
