I’m curious what the quality of the video looks like?

These are not underwater shots, but just an unboxing. He is sending it back because it will not work with windows media player which makes it a pain for him to edit videos. In my opinion, thats a pretty basic thing they could have accomplished. Ill be saving my money for something else as well.

VLC will play almost anything and its free. takes about 1 minute to download it. Don’t think you need to return the camera because you are committed to one media player. There are many options out there and its not hard to use different ones.

As far as the camera, I know you want to see video, and I cannot offer that, but I can say that I have used mine a few times now and the camera works great. others that have used other cameras have commented on how well you can see with it. I have noticed that the depth reading seems to work when it wants to. I haven’t played with it enough to find out if there is rhyme or reason for that

When you pay for a dedicated video editor that works with windows media player, your hands are tied. I know I dont want to take two hours of video and not be able to edit it to where the action is without doing unnecessary steps to make it work on my software. He has a point in the video, you go buy almost any other camera anywhere else and it will work with windows media player without having to wait on files to convert.
