From another guy who has a youtube channel, spamming an outdoors forum is not going to get you subscribers. Especially MULTIPLE times in a matter of minutes.

Give the kid a break, he’s like 13.

CKT, I checked out your channel. Keep on getting out there with you friends and fishing and hunting and enjoying the outdoors!

If you want to gain followers, do something different and make your channel unique. It will take time, don’t get discouranged. In fact, I would bet that I started my YouTube channel before you were even born. )

CKT, it’s tough coming to a fishing forum and dropping a video off. The guys here are looking for conversation mostly. They are very good at helping folks with fishing questions.

Three Rivers had some great advice. He’s been on YT before there was YT…almost.

    Good fishing and good luck!

I go straight to YouTube if I want to watch videos.

It might be an interesting take for a YouTuber to post their pilot fish fishing video on the forum.

@cktoutdoors nice channel from a fellow YouTuber. I subscribed! You can find mine at Outdoor Kruse

I have also been a member on this site since its inception in the late 199x, before the new version. I like seeing new content on this site and appreciate it. You are going to need thick skin to promote on forums.

As 3rivers said Keep hunting/fishing! Nothing wrong with that! Love seeing youth in the outdoors.

I meant no disrespect in my answer. Honestly I was trying to give some advice as someone who has a youtube channel. You aren’t going to get anywhere with people on a forum if you don’t invest some time in said forum and contribute. Posting videos or saying subscribe to my channel without people (1) knowing you and (2) seeing that you actually value/contribute to the site that you are on, isn’t going to get you very far in these types of places.

I love seeing new videos AND videos from random, non professional fishermen. Just don’t like seeing them going about it like this. Trying to help.

I watch lots of YouTube. Make sure to keep the video entertaining. Lots of the new fishing videos I watch are boring and just not entertaining at all. You have to be a little different from them

And don’t have a long introduction and ask for people to subscribe and like the video. If I start watching a video and they have a long introduction I leave immediately
