From another guy who has a youtube channel, spamming an outdoors forum is not going to get you subscribers. Especially MULTIPLE times in a matter of minutes.
April 20, 2021 at 10:15 pm #2031297Sorry I dont really know what im doing here. it kept saying failed and next i knew i posted like 3

CKT, I checked out your channel. Keep on getting out there with you friends and fishing and hunting and enjoying the outdoors!
If you want to gain followers, do something different and make your channel unique. It will take time, don’t get discouranged. In fact, I would bet that I started my YouTube channel before you were even born.
April 21, 2021 at 6:59 am #2031323CKT, it’s tough coming to a fishing forum and dropping a video off. The guys here are looking for conversation mostly. They are very good at helping folks with fishing questions.
Three Rivers had some great advice. He’s been on YT before there was YT…almost.
Good fishing and good luck!
April 21, 2021 at 11:11 am #2031444I go straight to YouTube if I want to watch videos.
It might be an interesting take for a YouTuber to post their pilot fish fishing video on the forum.
April 21, 2021 at 11:42 am #2031457@cktoutdoors cool channel and vids. takes some guts for young folks to put yourself out there in the youtube-universe (you-niverse?) these days. great to see you guys enjoying and respecting nature.
let me know when you do a bowfin episode. i love the multi-species stuff.

April 21, 2021 at 12:52 pm #2031488@cktoutdoors nice channel from a fellow YouTuber. I subscribed! You can find mine at Outdoor Kruse
I have also been a member on this site since its inception in the late 199x, before the new version. I like seeing new content on this site and appreciate it. You are going to need thick skin to promote on forums.
As 3rivers said Keep hunting/fishing! Nothing wrong with that! Love seeing youth in the outdoors.
39degreesPosts: 158April 21, 2021 at 3:47 pm #2031570I meant no disrespect in my answer. Honestly I was trying to give some advice as someone who has a youtube channel. You aren’t going to get anywhere with people on a forum if you don’t invest some time in said forum and contribute. Posting videos or saying subscribe to my channel without people (1) knowing you and (2) seeing that you actually value/contribute to the site that you are on, isn’t going to get you very far in these types of places.
I love seeing new videos AND videos from random, non professional fishermen. Just don’t like seeing them going about it like this. Trying to help.
April 21, 2021 at 4:06 pm #2031573I watch lots of YouTube. Make sure to keep the video entertaining. Lots of the new fishing videos I watch are boring and just not entertaining at all. You have to be a little different from them
Coletrain27Posts: 4789April 21, 2021 at 4:07 pm #2031574And don’t have a long introduction and ask for people to subscribe and like the video. If I start watching a video and they have a long introduction I leave immediately
