Today, 12/1/23. Found some lakes with 2”. Found one with 5”+. Found two with 3-4”. Found a couple wide open. Be cautious.

The first walleye of the season measured 22. I’m glad the kid got it. We have probably 10 more between the 5 of us. And a handful of decent crappies

Slow bite today. My boys are 12 and 9 now. Still kids, so want to play. But they still spent no time with a screen in their face. They brought home 7 crappie and 2 pounds of Chaga. Beautiful day out there today as well.

That’s awesome. My son is 12 as well. It’s always great getting kids out. Especially when they can get on fish. My son told me his alarm is set for 415 am, he’s ready to catch a few more tomorrow

The lake I live on has 5-7 inches. We caught some crappies and gills this morning but was kinda slow. Time for a quick grouse walk then on to a new lake.

No we were a little bit north of you. We went out again this morning, same spot different bite. We caught 5 keepers. Lost my demon jig to a pike and a buddy caught that pike a hour later with my demon in his mouth.

We found 3-5″ Clear good ice. Going to be a heck of the year if we can keep the snow away.
