We got almost 7″ here overnight in Fountain City. Mississippi up almost 2 feet since this morning. Yesterday was a good day fishing. What did the rest of you get from the storms last night? Shawn

We have thunder and some rain here in Rochester right now from a long line of storms. Winona, Fillmore, and Huston counties look like they’ll take the brunt of this first wave. Really dark here right now but little rain, nothing violent. Yet.

Ouch, not fun. Dealt with that for over a year before I finally ponied up and installed new drain tile…not too expensive if you do it yourself, just be prepared to sweat…Basement has been bone dry every since! For the first few rains after I installed new carpet, I sat downstairs cringing that my 2k in carpet would be ruined…

Yeah we put in New draintile last year. That helped reduce the flow from a legit waterfall in my closet to just a seepage issue. My house has issues… oh well, I try to look at the bright side and be grateful that I have a house to support my family, even if it’s not the best one out there.

Landscape issue? When the previous owner of my house added on to the garage, he built a concrete pad that sloped into the basement.

9 miles north of Wisconsin Dells we have been getting 1/2″- 3″s just about every day. Wife has only run sprinklers twice this year. All sand in this area so all has been well.

Up on high ground in galesville so had no idea how bad it was till I started seeing pics of FB. Our daycare got shut down with lots of water in basement.
This picture was our driveway at work in la crosse that goes around the backside of the building. All of 4 feet deep at the deepest. About 11am the stormwater system finally caught up with it.
