Any MX owners put rod tubes in the center rod locker?

    I’m not the biggest fan of rodsocks, so I wondered if anybody made a custom rod tube setup for the center rod locker on a MX boat?

    We have done that for 1 customer so far. We added a line of tubes, 6 i believe, to just under the cover. Long story short it was less then 2 weeks after he had the boat and it was back here and he wanted them out and everything back to the way it started.

    Definitely not.
    Rod socks are the way to go. Keeps them organized. I think I’ve got 9 rods in mine right now with room for more!
    Putting tubes in limits the storage.

    Rod gloves for me. They fit the big eyelets on Croix spinning rods.

    I wasn’t a fan of this setup at first either. But after using this setup with rod sleeves, I like it better than rod tubes.
