Thanks for taking care of this! I am also interested in a 2 battery, one charger package.
No problem! I’m glad we found a way to leverage our buying power a bit and we all save some money.
I’ve updated my notes to for the 2 batteries and 1 charger for you.TimmyPosts: 1235October 1, 2017 at 8:39 pm #1718100Oh jeez…..I wasn’t clear. I want two each of the batteries AND chargers! Hope you can update that list again….

They did confirm there could be a small price savings on the chargers.
“Yeah, there’s a little wiggle room with the chargers, depending on the number of units ordered.”
Since we are over 20 units, batteries will be $75/ea.
October 2, 2017 at 4:01 pm #1718330I would take a couple of chargers also.
Noted. Added 2 chargers to go with your 2 batteries.
October 3, 2017 at 1:04 pm #1718545** UPDATE **
1st- I’ll be closing this first round of orders by this Friday, 10/6/17. If things go smoothly and others are interested later on, Dakota is open to possibly doing another group buy offer.2nd- Early next week, after this closes on Friday, I’ll work with Dakota to set up a reference or coupon code you will use when calling in to place your order. They will reference my spreadsheet with your forum username to make sure you qualify.
You will then pay them directly over the phone for your items and shipping.3rd- I confirmed pricing and estimated shipping, here’s the breakdown:
One 12v,10Ah battery will be $75/unit, so two will be $150.
$18/unit for the chargers
US shipping will be around $15 for one battery, and up to $20 for two, depending on your location. Not much they can do here just because they are still rather heavy and I think there are restrictions on how they can ship lithium batteries.
For those neighbors to the north, shipping will be around $20-30.
Again, if you need a confirmed shipping cost, please call Dakota and they can provide a more accurate quote.Brad RothPosts: 17October 3, 2017 at 11:26 pm #1718646Where are they located in ND? I’m interested in purchasing 2 myself. I’m currently out in ND with work this week. Can I pick them up direct or is their location in ND only a distribution center? Any information would be appreciated. If not I would take 2 and have them shipped to Sioux City, Ia

Not sure where they are located in ND, but it did sound like it was a DC. I’ll email him today though and confirm.
I’ll put you on the list for 2 batteries.

Hey Brandon, can do! I got you added to the list.
And in case anyone cares, we’re up to 34 batteries in less than a week!
Thanks to all participating!
Brad RothPosts: 17October 4, 2017 at 9:02 pm #1718834Brad,
Link to post about halfway back up the page (sorry, just too lazy to retype)AaronMoorePosts: 229October 4, 2017 at 9:04 pm #1718835As we passed the 20 mark do you think we can get another price break at say 40?
October 4, 2017 at 9:12 pm #1718836Next price break they offered was $69/unit at 50+ units.
For the $6 savings, I think if I keep running/managing group buys, it will be in blocks of 20 just so when we get closer to ice season, people don’t need to wait such long periods in between to get their battery. It’s already a $90-100 investment…what’s $6, a large Caribou (the best) coffee.
AaronMoorePosts: 229October 4, 2017 at 9:49 pm #1718839I understand BTW Thanks for all your effort in helping us all out
October 4, 2017 at 10:02 pm #1718845No problem. I didn’t mean for my last post to come across snarky. Internet context loss and all that.
Anyway, I’m glad I took a moment to post for interest. I was about ready to pony up the $100, but I’m glad that with a little effort, all those interested are able to pool their buying power and save 25% on the battery.
That 25% savings now gets to be reallocated for other ice fishing “necessities.”
October 5, 2017 at 8:21 am #1718881I too was going to pony up the $100 at some point before ice season. I appreciate jamin doing this also and if our paths ever cross, the first round (coffee, beer, whatever) is on me!
October 5, 2017 at 12:01 pm #1718931Not sure where you’re located Doug, but if you’re in the Twin Cities area and fish the local lakes, let me know. We can share a couple cold ones together this winter!
Or, hopefully, a winter “meet up” happens this season. I was bummed it had to be canceled due to warm weather this past year.
October 6, 2017 at 4:59 pm #1719197** UPDATE **
Window is open through Sunday 7pm central time. At that time I’m going to organize the list and send it over to Dakota to button up the coupon code details and what not on Monday.
I’ll post back on Monday when that is done and then will begin PM’ing people their coupon code. Remember, the code is good to be used with your forum username on the list. This way we can control the discounted sale.
Thanks again everyone!
