Any ice fishing or ice reports from winnie?

    I am thinking about heading up to winnie this weekend any tips ?

    I do not know about Winnie. Nearby Bowstring was still fine 4 days ago
    on Thursday. I drove around Mille Lacs yesterday afternoon. It has started to look dark. In many places, there was water between the shore and the ice, as much as 10′. May still be OK for those who are adventurous and willing to walk out. As thin as the ice was this winter it will not take long to go from safe to questionable.
