Haha no need to bow. The name is derived from St. Louis County up in Arrowhead of Minnesota. We have always loved that area of the state and we were already leaning to Louie for a name.

Since this got bumped I can confirm I got that Rock River pup as shown above. She’s great, very intelligent. Can already tell she loves to hunt and swim.

As for pups yet this year I’m not sure. I would check with JWT Heavenly Springers though.

Can definitely see the sire’s bloodline in yours and mine, at least when he sits still long enough for a picture.

Just thought I would post. Years back I posted about our wonderfull brittany, but sadly a couple months back after 13 wonderful years we had to put her down.
We weren’t sure if we would ever have a dog again, but last week we picked up this wounderful 4 yr old from springer rescue and couldn’t be happier.

Hey congrats Musky Ed! Sorry about your Brittnay, it’s so hard to lose a good dog. But I’m glad you got a new pal!

Thank’s, here is another picture you might like. The fosters husband took it out pheasant hunting a couple weeks prior to me getting it.

I got my English springer from Cedar Knoll Kennel in Kilkenney. She’s a hunting machine. A little on the smaller side. She will be 10yo this summer. Still works hard but slowing down these days.
