Does anyone know of any good ice fishing sales or deals going on this offseason? Not that I need anything but I am always game for a good deal haha. Just finished making my season wish list of things I hope to upgrade to for this year. But those are all down the road things
probably too early to find any sales. im looking forward to getting the goodies i plan on buying for this ice fishing season too but i imagine most places will not have items in stock (at least for what i want) until earliest end of august thru about october
Keep your eye on the classifieds here. I’ve been blowing out ice gear and have more to go in the coming weeks.

What is the biggest hook size you put on your jigs?
I love tungsten jigs but hate the flimsy rinky dink small hooks.

Hah! Thanks for the plug Rev. Just got some duck decoys left to sell, that’s about it. Oh, now that you mention it, I will have an Minn Kota electric trolling motor (36v) that mounts on the Cav plate of a larger outboard available soon. That came with my boat but I just had SBC unrig it and am sending it to repair for maintenance and to see that it is in good sellable condition. Once I get that back in a week or two, I will put that up for sale.
Other than that, I am low on stuff for now.

Typically the first of the season is the Thorne Bros. Portable Modification Get-Together…..which is an ice sale for the most part. They offer the first good deals of the season, and definitely the first best look at all the new products.
You’ll have to wait a month and change however. This is usually the 3rd week or so in September!

I take some of those. I have a few ideas!
keep on eye on c-list, although you’ll get your best deals in April when the ice is melting away and guys don’t want the hassle of storing gear all summer. There’s a short period in early fall when guys start taking inventory and deciding on upgrading gear or not..

There’s a bait store off of the intersection of 39 and 25 in Monticello that is closing and has tons of sale and special prices on stuff. They have at least one or two 20ft aisles strictly with ice fishing gear. My best bet would be there since EVERYTHING has to go by August 29th when they shut down.
