I am not sure how many guys have been following AMC or Gamestop.. I am one of the dumb money investors in AMC. Have been in it for months now and just want to say hi to any fellow apes hanging in on this one!!

If you are not aware of the situation you should check it out. Not meaning to tell anyone to invest their money into this but for anyone investing in the market you should be aware of what’s going on here. This could change the way that Hedge Funds invest with your money. Lets hope something good comes out of it. Dont read into Bloomberg, Motley Fool or those idiots. They own hedge funds and have been bashing us small investors this whole time.

While I’m not active in any of the reddit threads, I do enjoy reading through it. My “fun” investing of AMC shares is almost starting to get serious.

Bought into AMC when it was around $10 and sold when it hit $32. Yeah…dumb me.

But I’ve got some other WSB/Meme stocks going on so hopefully that lessens the hurt for me..

I am not heavily invested by any means. Just a few bucks but enough to make me more aware of the market and practices within the market. The idea that so many of us stupid money little guys are able to move the market tells you something and has never happened like this before. We caught the big boys with their pants down on a bad bet with AMC and the media along with the financial institutions are starting to admit it. What we want to know is if they “short positions” are playing by the rules and should find out in the weeks to come.

Stout, don’t feel bad at all about taking a 200% profit. Most would say your crazy not too.

Won’t put my retirement money into the meme stocks but its interesting to put some “fun” money” in play. Strictly a speculative play, my pattern has been to get in, hopefully see significant increases in the per share price, pull out the initial investment and then ride the roller coaster for the thrills. Same thing for the blockchain plays.

I’ve day traded AMC over the past few months when volume is high. Made some nice money. Did the same with GME for a while as well.

Got into MVIS last year when it was under $1.65. Sold a pile this spring at $23. Still holding a nice chunk yet as well. I don’t consider MVIS a meme stock though even if Cramer and the hedge fund media want to claim it is; in fact the WSB apes actually hurt the stock with their attempted pump trying to squeeze the shorts.

I stay on the Options side with the meme stocks, can usually inverse market indicators when meme stocks are running.

Never thought Id see my MVIS on a fishing forum!

With meme stocks more than anything, remember to take profits. The higher the rise, the sharper the fall.

Looks a lot like a pump & dump followed by a dead cat bounce on the chart…

Wish I wouldn’t have gotten cold feet and sold a while back. First bought in at $4, then sold at $5. Jumped back in at $26 and then back out at $47. Back in again at $57 and not selling anytime soon. If it goes to $350 I’ll have enough to pay for a substantial down payment on a new Warrior 203.
