Any concerns leaving a buddy heater pilot light on?

The bathroom in our wheel house is accessible via a second outside door. We have a buddy heater hooked up to our primary propane setup. Any reason we couldn’t leave it in pilot to create some warmth when not in use? Specifically over night so the chill is taken out in the morning!

I think lots of people use a buddy heater or big buddy heater to sleep in their portables.

I’ve started bringing and using a CO detector when sleeping on the ice in any shack so that should eliminate any worries right there.

Should be no problem. Other heaters in permanent shacks have there pilots on all winter long

Do they have built in thermostats if we wanted to keep it in the lowest setting?
