Go further in, go earlier and stay later than everyone else.

I don’t even use a call (or decoys) when I hunt pressured birds. Set up on a daily travel route and wait. Kinda like deer hunting.

I’m no expert, as this was my first year hunting turkeys but both my bird and my buddies came in similarly and off of private land into the public we were on. Bounced around public properties calling until we struck a gobble once we had one that gobbled we moved in to around 150-200yds and set up. Then called just enough to get a gobble and would wait 5-10min in between. My bird came in after about 45 minutes of that process and his came in after over an hour. Both birds were in groups of toms. Mine was a 10am bird and his was at 9am.
