    Denied. My only reason for wanting one was that would be one more doe that wouldn’t get shot.

    Going to be LOTS of people haveing thier first “no doe” year in a long time this season.

    Good to hear its back the way it used to be when we actually had deer.
    People need to get used to the fact we cannot all get a deer every year.
    That mentality is what got us here.

    Yes, we really need the breeding stock to stay in the woods now. I have 3 cams out and this year I have a total of 1 fawn that I’ve been watching. Everything else is mature deer. With the hard winters and springs the last 2 years, we really need the population to start trending upward.

    We almost have only bucks on camera. I didnt get a doe tag but if I did I would eat it. My 12 yo is looking for his first deer. A small buck might be better. We must have does somewhere as my buddy was seeing 50 deer in the fields at night this winter.
