Another Tire Discussion – Budget Minded

Long story short, son totaled van last weekend. Not his fault car spun into him and took him out. Trooper called it no fault so basically got screwed ( had liability only). Worst part due to weather adjusters haven’t released vehicle from lot yet at $75 per day (

Found a reasonably priced 2008 trailblazer that needs tires. With all this $1200 for tires will be difficult. Is there such thing as a mid price decent tire? What should we consider?

Check out used tires too. United tires sells some pretty well priced once drives and high treads. Worth checking anyway.

Check out those Coopers Randy mentioned.
If i were you have that looked over before purchase.I would have the front suspension and steering parts looked at and check for frame rot.

May have found these tires at a decent price. Verifying Monday

The frame in good condition. Our mechanic taking a look at it prior to purchase.

    Thanks

Those definitely a reasonable price. Tires have gotten stupid in cost.

    Thanks for the recommendation.

I got Kenda Klever AT2s on my hunting wagon and they have worked great. Think I got them for right around a hundred a piece. Good tires for the price. Good warranty and great traction.

My buddy had treadwrights on a hunting truck that lasted a surprisingly dang long time. Recaps. Never saw over 80 mph but they lasted with minor use 5-6 years until the truck went to the crusher.
