I am waiting to see the stats about mass shootings happening 100x more often in the US than anywhere else ?
If you think taking away my 19 guns and millions more like me, is gonna stop some nut job with 1 gun, your logic is flawed. Would sure make your gun numbers graph look worthless though, wouldn’t it ?
Well the difference is I never posted that and labeled it a stat, I said ‘it seems to happen here 100x more often’. Do you disagree with that statement? Truly. Do you read the news and in your head, you are seeing just as many news stories about mass shootings in Europe than in the US?
You on the other hand presented an extremely flawed ‘scientific’ study, by some dude who is likely being funded by the NRA. If I said, “God, the Vikings always seem to lose to the packers”, would you respond with “I’m waiting to see the stats on that”?
Disagree with your last statement as well, that’s historical data, anything that happens or doesn’t happen in the future will not impact those graphs or make them look any different, that’s not really how data works. Again, if there is a gaping hole in how those graphs were generated(like there was in the numbers you posted), I’m all ears, seriously.
Where did I say anything about taking your guns away? Do gun owners seriously have such a lack for reasonable arguments that they need to jump to ‘JUST TRY TO TAKE THEM AWAY’ every time?
If you guys read my posts and somehow interpret that as me saying ‘Take all the guns away and we will never have any gun related problems in the US’, then you really missed the point(or more likely didn’t read them). But that’s what happens whenever anyone tries to even suggest a conversation about guns. You jump to some extreme conclusion that wasn’t even presented or suggested by me, to avoid actually thinking about the problem or admitting that there might be one.
