Another forum member needs thoughts and prayers.

I know many of you know forum member KWP (Kendall P.) He and his boat won the P2 Hawg Haul 2 years ago I believe it was.

I have some bad news, I’m afraid. Back at the beginning of October, Kendall suffered what was believed to be a pretty large stroke. He is only 51.

I have spoken to him multiple times and went to see him 2 weeks ago, but then hadn’t heard from him in a few days last week so I got worried and called his brother.

It turns out his condition has taken a turn for the worse starting last week. Now his doctors believe he did not have a stroke, but he is now suffering from uncontrollable epileptic seizures. These seizures mimic the effects of a stroke, hence the original diagnosis miscue. The cause of these seizures is not known, but they have left him in pretty bad shape. I was in to see him today in hospital and I’m sad to say that right now he’s in pretty rough shape and he cannot communicate very well, but it was clear that he understands his condition and is very distressed by what is happening to him.

I want to respect his privacy and not put out too much info on the open internet, but I knew he has lots of friends here. He and his family need your thoughts and prayers right now.

For those of you that know him and would like more specific info, please PM me.

Kendall is a good friend and I’m extremely sad that he is so sick right now. Your prayers for him will help.

With these difficult posts of bad news lately makes a guy feel pretty dang lucky that you wake up in good health.

Kendall is really a great guy, one heck of a fisherman, a good buddy of mine, and a kind and considerate person. I hope that through modern medicine and determination he will get back healthy and be out on the river again soon. Prayers for a good recovery. I think about you often buddy.
