Make sure your kids are aware so they do not fall for this dangerous prank.

This is not a prank it is just cruel. A good prank should not cause injury to someone. Thank you for the heads up.

Agreed, looks like aggravated assault honestly.

I see parents suing for damages in court, this is assault . Real funny until someone dies from traumatic brain injury !

    What is TikTok?

A mobile app where mostly kids take videos of anything and everything and post them for the world to see.

    What is TikTok?

It’s like a combination of Twitter and YouTube. You post videos where the length can be no greater than 15 seconds. Its creating an army of kids who can’t pay attention and get bored after 12 seconds.

It’s also creating an army of kids (and moron adults) doing stupid sh!t in hopes that the video of them doing it goes viral.

We just had a talk with the kids about this couple weeks ago. Their response: “Oh That!? That was last years prank!”…. We’ll never be able to keep up with how fast things are changing out there and can only hope our kids know better.

On a side note. We got the kids phones for Christmas for the simple fact of sports and being at there friends so they can get a hold of us (& so we can see where they are). But they started with 3 hours of screen time a day. They are both down to an hour now as all they do is watch other kids play video games on YouTube or this TikTok thing I know nothing about.. I did get the boy going on fishing videos from IDO & UnCut Angling though. And it seems to keep him occupied.

TikTok is also owned by a Chinese company. There is concern of privacy issues for some, but all the kids using it could care less.. whistling coffee

Too bad natural selection don’t work in the USA…

How about parenting your children to know the difference between bad and good decision making? Is that too much to ask of today’s parenting? I realize today’s new world order is “I pay taxes, it’s the schools job to teach my kid.”

To the parents who give their children the #1 thing they desire, your time, I’d bet this happens to very few kids.

To those dumb enough to fall for it, good luck in life cuz your problems are just beginning. Tick tock

They won’t think it is so funny when one dies from blunt force trauma to the brain!

It is really hard to believe that kids are really that stupid and are still alive.

Apparently I’m the only one who remembers the stupid stuff I did as a kid. I’m 38. Was just going through a box of old stuff my mom saved. Found a detention slip I received for launching someone down the steps on the teachers chair. We all had a laugh and moved on. Remember playing smear the ….? We were playing in 6th grade and one of the guys broke his leg in 3 places. We made fun of him and blamed him for wearing a Brett Hull jersey, making him the target. Luckily stuff we ALL did wasn’t recorded back then. Doing dumb stuff is nothing new.

deertracker, I was thinking the same thing. A lot of these replies act like doing dumb things is unique to the current generation of kids. Only difference between now and generations before is now it’s widely broadcasted.

I don’t know how many stories I’ve heard from people older than me (I’m 34) of “We used to grab a case of beer and drive around…blah blah blah.”

DT, blank — exactly. Kids have always been dumb at best and downright mean at their worst. I worked as a cook thru high school and once saw a dishwasher kid tricked into sticking his hand into a 350 degree deep fryer. The guy told him it wouldn’t hurt if he did it quickly shock

And don’t forget about the long history of hazing in high school athletics.

    None of this is new.

My thoughts exactly.. You have all turned into your parents and grand parents. Not saying that’s a bad thing but you do realize that right?

I guaranty there will be 5 times more adults killing someone by texting and driving in the next 17 minutes than the amount of kids that will die from this dumb prank. Think about that for a minute.
