Another Death on the St Croix

Not good. Only a handful of years older than me and from my area. Hope I don’t know him….prayers for the family.

Ugh. River fishing, alone, at night, no life jacket. Ugh.

Also weird how the police were not called last night after he didn’t return.

I knew the guy, truly sad indeed. I use to fish with him almost every week several years ago. My prayers to the family.

Hey Kevin, I believe I have heard him mention you. I just met him this spring at pool 2 and we started fishing the croix together this spring and summer. In fact he’s the one who got me into the croix.

This is horrible news and I don’t even know how to feel. We talked on the phone a couple days per week. My condolences to his family

Where did you guys find his name at ? Very sad deal. 😔

Was he a member or visitor here? A name we might recognize?

Sorry guys, wasn’t sure if it would be appropriate to post his name here at that point in time. I was informed by my buddy Ryan at 4:30 this morning. He had seen it on Facebook and recognized the name from me mentioning him. I might not have even heard about it for a few days or more had he not reached out, so I’m grateful for that. Also not sure if he was a member here ever, but don’t think so- I think he might have occasionally popped in back in the day. I do know he knew at least a few members here personally though. He went by “BJ”
