Wonder what Mom and Dad will say about this situation. No one over the age of 18 could possibly be that dumb:???:

You don’t outgrow this level of stupid.
stupid is what stupid does…… what do you mean by “another” ? wtf ???
I like the ad after the video. All it needs is a raft option. ……

An SUV went in on Bald Eagle lake. I think these are liken to those iddiots that think they can beet the commuter trains but loose.
I wonder if we started penalizing the bejeezers out of these idiots if they’d be more cautious? This is so stupid! It’s all over the news, the websites, the publications……. bad ice is all over the place this year! I guess, ignorance is bliss……..

I look upon “these” folks as my early warning system. As long as they are willing to be test vehicles, I’m all for it.

You’d think losing a vehicle, if not your life, would be a big enough deterrent. Not to mention the removal cost for something that is now rendered useless.
Some one can correct me, but insurance won’t cover a vehicle going through the ice?

Some policies do if you have full comprehensive coverage. However, I don’t believe they cover the extraction costs which can run into the thousdands pretty easily.
Depends on the coverage, might cover a set amount for a tow, not full extraction.
That’s crazy. I could not even find any ice in the South Metro that I was willing to walk out on. Its no wonder why this country is in the mess its in with stupid people like this out there.
I think the bigger issue here is, did the car drain it’s live well before going into Marion? Perhaps a sticker could have avoided this situation altogether.

I feel the same way. Once these stories diminish its time to drive on the ice!

After posting, that was kind of what I was thinking (comprehensive coverage).
I always thought if you were “off roading” on a lake, you have zero coverage…

I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking an atv out right now. Im pretty sure I saw one out in the middle of Big Marine yesterday and I only had 4″ by the boat landing.
