Annual Rapala Billboard

    The past few years I always get a kick out of the new Rapala billboard. Typically the original floater with something like “catching” or “Take a fish boating”.

    Am I the only one who doesn’t understand it this year?

    Bingo, I think thaddeus got it. woot Rapala marketing is trying to get “cute” with their word play. Last year it was “Winner, Winner…Walleye dinner”. Wonder what they were trying to get at with that one? roll

    Thanks guys. I’m okay feeling a little silly. However not obsessing over why I can’t figure out a billboard is totally worth it.

    I think they are getting at if you use Rapala that is going to be your new nickname.

    hahahaha, right??? that’s funny. Marvelous marketing campaign though even though a lot don’t understand it has people talking. THIS LURE WILL PUT MORE FISH IN THE COOLER

    Captain, Phillip(fill up) the(da)fish cooler…. Those that are usually on the back of the (outdoor news) are usually pretty good too )
