My D+ draft rated team continues to roll at 10-0 despite Evans on the bench for a week or two longer and Diggsy gone for the season. Not just lucky on who I play … my total PF is 10% higher than the next nearest competitor.

In a separate long-term (10 year or so) league … last year I lost one regular season game and won the play-offs, albeit the semi was won by a fraction of a point. It was a league that I had placed 3rd in a time or two, but dominating the league and winning it all … well that happiness is still there.

How’s everyone doing? I made a massive blunder and started Purdy and Deebo last night in the snow. They combined for ONE point. doah

Need a good showing from the Denver defense to still eek out a win tonight and guarantee myself a spot in the playoffs.

After tonight, there will be a 3-way tie in my league for first place at 8-5. We use total points scored as the tie breaker and one person has about a 35 point lead in that category.

My fantasy football season started falling apart 2 weeks ago and is still falling apart. This week will mark my 3rd loss in a row. Started the week in 5th out of 9 teams. not sure where I’ll end up after this week. Going to have to probably pull out a win next week against the current top team just to make the playoffs. a few coaching blunders but mostly top players just not having good games at keep times plus one week with far to many keep players on bye the same week when up against a top team. Just my luck this week that I didn’t start Harrison Jr. after starting him far to often and he had a decent week against the Vikings. Also started Mayfield over Burrows and that didn’t work out. 3 weeks ago I was sitting good and now its a struggle. Oh well that’s the way the FF ball bounces I guess. Hope its going better for the rest of you.

As is often the case in our league there are 2 good teams, 2 awful teams, and the rest of us are all in a dogfight within a game or 2 of each other.

My last round selection of Jayden daniels is looking good for next year’s keeper. Last night I was the beneficiary of the Josh Allen double dip which helped propel me to a much needed win. Time to fight it out with the other 6-7 teams for that final spot and hope I catch lightning in a bottle.

So let’s here everyones update. I finished our regular season in 5th out of 10 teams. Playoffs start this week and it me against the #4 seed. I took a big fall in The last 4 weeks, losing 3 out of the last 4 weeks. I did beat the #1 team this last week so that was positive. I have some poor matchups this week. Several players are dinged up and their teams eliminated so not sure they will even play. Currently my team is projected to score 119.5 and my opponent 136 so not looking real good at this point. I need Kenny Walker to get healthy and have a huge game as well as several other players to have big games.

Well this was my first time doing FF and I made it to the playoffs! I lost the first round though so I’m thinking that ranks me in 6th place of 12. So not bad. My fiancee didn’t make the playoffs in this FF league so I keep teasing him about that. But not too much cuz 6th out of 12 isn’t really much to brag about LOL I’m jsut glad I’m not in last place! rotflol woot

8-6 in 5th place in one league, and 9-5 in the other w/ Weedis. Couldn’t quite run @Weedis down at 10-4, but I like my chances in the playoffs. 8-6 league was the auction where I took CMC, and Jordan Mason, but didn’t get Guerendo, so it will be an uphill battle to finish in the money.

From 5-1 to 5-8. Ouch. That is a skid ! Injuries and matchups play sure a roll in the outcome in FF. The guy who won our league the last few years finished in 9th out of 10 and missed the playoffs this year.

    LOL. Brutal!

We have a guy in my league that was nearly the same. Started 5-2 and lost 7 straight to finish the season and missed the playoffs entirely. Epic collapse.

I am very similar to fishthumper. Finished in 5th place and play the 4 seed in round 1. My record was 8-6 and the winner in my league was 9-5. Very close from first to seventh place.

I like my chances in round 1. A lot of good matchups for my team and everyone is healthy.

I’d like to pose a question on my flex spot this week though. It can be a TE or a WR and here are my options: Kelce, Deebo, Pittman, or Bateman. Deebo has been a train wreck the past month but traditionally the best option of those four. Right now I have Kelce in there.

Opinions requested please. Standard scoring, non PPR.

    Thanks

We have a pretty even league this year BW, should be a good playoff! In my other league I was hanging towards the top most the year but collapsed the last few weeks and missed out on the playoffs.

Grim, I would stick with Kelce, second choice would be Pittman. Both on the road, chiefs at browns and Indy at Denver. Although Juedy did just go off on the Denver D last week I would trust Mahomes/Kelce combo at the Browns over Richardson/Pittman.

Well I lost due to 2 WR’s (Devante and Mike Evans) outscoring their advanced age and Purdy’s clunker Thursday on my end in one league, and barring something truly miraculous will advance in the other league. Which for those following along, will pit my gritty underdog squad against Weedis’ juggernaut in the semi’s. Pack a lunch bud!

I started Kelce but his results weren’t much better than Deebo.

It was kind of irrelevant since my opponent had Goff and St Brown and they combined for like 65 points. Say good bye

By some miracle I’m leading and favored to win this week. I’m ahead 110 to 100 and I have Swift and London going tonight and he has Jefferson. Depending on Swifts injury I’m thinking of replacing him with Sincere Mccormick with the raiders for tonights game. or I could replace him with Tyler Allgeier – What are your thoughts on either of these changes or should i just stay with Swift?

In the semi-finals in all three leagues despite bad draft ratings. Don’t want to elaborate more because of the jinx factor. wink

I think my season is over. Unless I can get about 30+ point out of my kicker tonight and GB’s def. really sucks. Having both Conner and London exit the game due to injuries kind of sealed my fate. Ended the reg. season in 5th and lost in the semi-finals of the playoffs. Overall I’m happy with the results. Probably enjoyed this season more than in the past. Look forward to trying and improve next season.

Sent Big werm packing, did it with loosing Hurts too with only 4 points from the QB position. Thank you Jonathan Taylor for picking up the slack and getting me 39 points. Maybe next year BW, off to the ship for me!

The Packers Defense helped me to move on to the Championship in our 18 team league. I’m going for a 3-Peat. Gibbs and Lamar have been phenomenal.

I scored the 2nd most points in the league and am taking on the guy who scored the most. 18 teams really divides up the talent and forces people to pay attention to injury reports and their use of FAAB.
