Interesting stat I saw as I was fine tuning my line-up this week…

Vikings defense leads the league in sacks, but ALSO leads the league in most passing yards allowed…

Seems strange, I’m guessing a lot of those yards are either garbage time passing or playing prevent like we did against GB last week. It feels like we don’t give up that all that much and have a quite a few pics as well.

Every week I keep hearing of more and more people benching Mahomes at QB in their leagues.

Fantasy football weekly on KFAN said last episode that he has posted only a single top ten fantasy football stat line since week 10 of last season – so now 12 games straight.

I know it may seem odd to bench what is widely considered the top QB in the NFL, but for fantasy football purposes, his numbers are just not that impressive anymore. He’s currently ranked #12 this week the Saints.

FF QB’s and real life QB’s rarely, if ever, align. Brady was usually a middle of the pack FF QB.

I call that the Cousins effect, whenever he had a great FF week, the Vikes would lose. When he threw for 240 yards and 1 or 2 TD’s we’d win. Last night was a great example, except for the Bucs fumbling it away at the end, a Classic Cousins game is 300+ yards, 3+ TD’s and one score from a W. rotflol jester rotflol

They were talking about that stat at noon… yeah, garbage yards, playing the prevent. Also helps with the picks !

D+ draft rating. I though no “blanking” way. That team is 4-0 and leads the league in total points scored. So much for the ratings … like the Vikings just need the roster to stay mostly healthy.

Mahomes is working with such a patchwork core of skilled receivers and RBs, they are lucky to be 4-0 … QB stats are the least of KC’s worry.

I have to decide between Rashid Shaheed or Travis Kelce tonight at my flex spot. I’m losing by 14 points.

My initial thoughts were Shaheed because he’s more explosive but with Rice out, I think Kelce may see more targets now.

Who would you start and why? Thanks

Starting Kelce is hoping this is the week he returns to form as he hasn’t come close to over 14 points this year, while Shaheed is betting on his average game happening again. Shaheed had a 0 vs Philly, but 18/14/13.8 in his other games. So really depends on if you want to gamble or take the safer bet.

Shaheed feels like the more explosive player. Either way I’m probably gonna need a TD. Think I’ll go with him unless someone can talk me out of it.

Well it looks like both of them got the job done. At least. In our scoring they both got more than 14 points. Shaheed had a few more

Kelce did not get enough points in my league because we use standard scoring (non PPR). Shaheed did though. I made the right decision. waytogo

I’m now 3-2 on the year and 5th in the standings and in 5th place. We have one guy at 4-1 and 5 guys at 3-2. I need to get my points scored up, points scored is the tie breaker if tied record. Last 2 weeks I’ve had decent points. The first 3 weeks not so good. Got a solid lineup and have been staying rather healthy so far. May look to make a trade. I’ve got the #3 and 4 ranked QB ( mayfield and Burrows ) could use a top end RB or TE.

I fell this week… 4-1… no offense for Dallas in wet Pittsburgh.. my kicker injured his foot in the 2nd quarter, making a tackle and others plain shi7 the bed. crazy doah I wasn’t expecting to go undefeated but it was fun while it lasted !

I’m 4-1 through 5 weeks in our 18 team league. Currently sitting at 2nd in total points scored and 2nd overall with one team being 5-0.

One guy mistakenly dropped Aiyuk (I think it was out of frustration) so I dropped $40 of my $100 FAB and nabbed him. There’s just nobody to pick up in an 18 team league. The top projected RBs available for this week are worth 3 points, and receivers worth 6.

It’s still about health in the longterm. If my core can avoid missing games, I’ll have a chance at the league 3 peat. If any go down for more than a week or 2 in a league this size…I’ll be toast.

Another Win this week. I’m currently tied at 1st with a 4-2 record. I’m actually in 3rd place due to the Points scored tie breaker. Beat the 2 time defending champ this last week 155.6 to 117.1. That sure felt good. My team is finally starting to score a good # of points each week. Now I’m only about 25 points behind the person in 2nd. Big week this week because I play the guy in 2nd place. Sure could use a big win this week. Got some good matchups for my players so hopefully I can pull out the win. The only injured player in my lineup right now is Harrison Jr. only have Kmet on Bye this week so that’s good. How are the rest of you sitting right now?

I’m also 4-2. I won by 1 point this week thanks to the Jets defense doing nothing last night.

We have someone who is 6-0, and another guy who is 5-1. We still have 2 players who are also winless at 0-6.

I play the guy who is 5-1 this week. His team is damn good. He has Derrick Henry and Jayden Daniels.

I’m currently in third place in my league at 4–2 and have scored 740 points, while the leader who is 5-1 and has scored 607 points for the year so far. Guess sometimes luck of who your playing against helps a bunch.

Another win, Now in 2nd place. We have 3 teams tied at 5-2 but I’m in 2nd based on Points scored being the tie breaker. I did lose Aiyuk for the season but not a real big deal. Currently have 3 other good receivers and most likely will get a decent one off of claims to replace him. I play the current leader the 2nd to the last game of the season so hopefully it comes down to that game for the championship. How are all of you hanging in there in your leagues

I’m pretty much exactly the same. 5-2, tied for 2nd place, and I also play the guy who is in first place this coming week. He finally lost a match too, so he is 6-1.

We still have two people who are winless at 0-7. lol

Unfortunately, the free agents in my league are a scrap heap. There really is no one to pick up. Rashod Bateman is available and it appears he may now be the top WR on that team with Flowers injured. Maybe I’ll put in a bid for him.

For those scoring at home, I beat @Weedis 162-102 this week. As I’ve been saying the cream always rises to the top! rotflol

Just traded away Derek Henry last week. Figured I’d sell high. Had a guy desperate for RB help and I have James Cook, Alvin Kamara, and Aaron Jones but needed QB help. I asked him what it would take to get Lamar Jackson. He quickly replied Henry and I didn’t hesitate. Well, last night was good for both of us…
Currently 5-2 with a 5 game win streak and have been the highest scoring team for 3 of the past 4 weeks.

I sure hope that’s not 31 pts in a PPR scoring system. That would be a rather rough week. In our league with PPR scoring I believe a mid 60’s is the lowest score so far this season.

That looks like some form of a PPR scoring. Player point total look close to the same as on ours. That was a rough week for you for sure. I also had Schultz and Koo and only got a total of 5.8 out of them. Thankfully Mayfield got decent points in garbage time and Hall and Walker had a good game.

Doesn’t help that you started a defense on bye either. doah

I also have Deebo but luckily it didn’t cost me.
