Annual DAV Hunt

    I posted about this last year and a few people asked to try and give them more of a heads up.

    The annual Olmsted County DAV in collaboration with Olmsted County Veterans Services will hold their annual deer hunt at Chesterwoods Park again this November. I am going to go and help butcher this years harvests on Saturday Nov 12th. If you are interested in giving a hand, send me a PM or reply to the topic. The hunt will be November 10th – 13th and they usually need help cutting and packaging the venison. It is an awesome experience to visit with these vets and the Olmsted staff puts on a great event for them.

    The Veterans hunt is this weekend. I am heading there on Sunday around noon to help butcher. You can stop out to Chesterwoods Park east of Rochester any time if you’d like to see if there is anything they need. Happy hunting everyone.

    The Disabled American Veterans organization is TOTALLY fantastic!

    Prieser, I didn’t see this post until now and would like to get in the way next year. (you don’t want me around people with a knife)
