Just wondering if the fishing up at the angle on the reefs and around the islands is any good late in the season? We are thinking of a trip up there but don’t know if fishing is good up there that late like it can be on the south shore or not. Looking at last weekend of March.
    Thanks for the help.

Simple answer = yes. Late March is my favorite time to be up in that area for the simple reason that’s always been BIG fish time. And little to no pressure.

Good to here. I’ve been up there early ice but never late. Fishing same rock reefs and splines as early ice?

Same structures but a little bit deeper. Instead of upper teens to low twenty foot depths our biggest fish come mid-twenties +/-.

The Angle is always an awesome place to be. A lot of places on LOW are great to fish late ice but the Angle is just one of those exceptionally great spots to be. With all the different structure not too far away from spot to spot it’s almost hard to not find the fish.
