Well this will be my last post of the year from Lake Erie. The warm weather is setting in next week and will make the ice a little to dangerous for me.
It was a tremendous year for Lake Erie again. We knew the warm weather was coming so we fished last Thursday, Friday and Saturday from sun up to sun down each day. We caught a ton of fish and had a great time. Wanted to give a shout out to my wife. Not only is she very good at catching fish, ice fishing is her favorite too. She never once complained about getting out of bed at 2am to get the early bite, never complained about the -10 degree weather either.

Wanted to thank James and the IDO Crew for letting us fish with you. It was a great time and you made us feel like we were part of the gang, so thank-you again. I have a feeling you guys will be making the trip over here each year now.

I posted on here that anyone that wanted to come over I would provide some info. to help you out. I was contacted by a ton of people and I tried to respond as fast as I could. I am hopeful that the info. I sent helped you out and you had a safe trip and caught some fish.

I also wanted to say thanks publicly to RevPilot and Brian. I can’t find all these fish by myself and working with you two really helped out. We worked together all year and caught a ton of fish safely. (Well except for yesterday when RevPilot ditched me for the IceShanty guys) LOL Sorry Bob, you knew it was coming!

Here are some pics from the last few days. The last picture posted is the one we took last night as we were getting ready to head in. The picture pretty much tells the entire story of why we love ice fishing so much.

Take care and finish up your season safely,

    Jeff

Thanks Jeff. We are going to do one last trip leaving Wednesday. Hopefully the ice holds up.
